Spanda Studio is located 10km's from Avoca via the Pyrenees Hwy on a bush property overlooking grassy paddocks and tranquil water holes. The Studio itself was hand built by Philip some 20 years ago and includes Pat Adams original lead light windows and hand hewn timber elements. Its from this environment that Philip produces his fantastic works which are also on display in a viewing room.

The town of Avoca is a 2hr drive from Melbourne via Ballarat. The area is best known for its high quality wines produced in many of the vineyards. Nearly all the vinyards have tasting rooms open and food availble with accomodation easily found in town or even at some of the vineyards themselves. For more info contact the Avoca information centre. The town is also at the foot hills to the Pyrenees ranges with some fantastic picnic spots within a short drive of the town centre.
